Who: We are a Boy Scout Troop with a passion for the outdoors serving boys

11-17 years old in the Concord, NH area.

What: We are a boy-led troop that promotes community service, leadership,

character, responsibility, adventure, and most of all – fun!

When: We meet every Tuesday 7:00-8:15 pm

Where: at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, lower level;

Visit Troop 88 at Hidden Valley on Wed 7/22

On Wed July 22 the Webelos and young scouts in Troop 88 are invited to join Troop 88 up at Hidden Valley Scout camp in Gilmanton Iron Works for an afternoon of games and activities.  This is a great opportunity to tour Hidden Valley and spend an afternoon of fun with the troop.  Boys should pack a lunch, bring a water bottle, and wear sneakers (uniforms are not required).  We will meet at St Paul's at 12 noon and plan to return by 5 pm.  We are in need of  another adult to help drive.  Contact Mrs. Muller if you are interested in going.

Concord's 250th Birthday Parade on Aug 16

Concord celebrates it's 250th Birthday this summer!!  The week long festivities will conclude on Sunday Aug 16th with a parade from Rollins Park to Memorial Field where there will be a day filled with events and fireworks.

MANDATORY Pre-camp meeting for PARENTS and SCOUTS on Tuesday, July 7 at 7 pm at St Paul's.  This is a reminder is for scouts going to Hidden Valley, next week we have our MANDATORY Pre-Camp Meeting for PARENTS & SCOUTS on TUESDAY JULY 7th 7-8 pm at St Paul's church.  We will review the packing list, driving directions & arrival times, highlights of the Handbook, cover emergency procedures, etc.

Swimming Lessons

Good job to all the scouts who worked on their swim requirements this week.  For anyone interested in working on stroke development (front crawl, breat stroke, and elementary backstroke) before camp, Concord Recreation Department is offering FREE swimming lessons to all Concord & Penacook residents this summer.  Contact Concord Recreation for more information or to reserve your spot.  Registration opened May 12 and lessons are filling up.

Sustainability Merit Badge and Service Project Work Days

Are you interested in earning your Sustainability Merit Badge (Eagle Required) and helping out in a Service Project?  The Schreier's Farm is hosting a Permaculture Conference on August 22,  which is a community-driven event aimed at education about back-yard (and global) sustainability, at the core. We are seeking community help to prepare our farm space for the conference. The farm is in Chichester.
